EXCLUSIVE Musician Spotlight: Singer Lovey James From Los Angeles

The adorable and really talented 16-year old Singer, Dancer, Songwriter, Actress Lovey James from Portland, Oregon. Lovey’s love and talent for music started at a very early age and by the time she was 6 years old, she was already performing for audiences around The U.S. Her love for dance quickly earned her a spot on the local dance team The Portland Stars, directed by former New Orleans Saints Cheerleader, Linda Anderson. Linda Anderson has directed and choreographed over 50 live productions and worked with Tommy Tune, Carol Channing, Burt Reynolds, and many more. She noticed Lovey’s talent and immediately entered her into a local singing competition where Lovey took 1st place. She continued to dance and sing at local competitions.

In 2012, she entered Portland Teen Idol and met singer/songwriter/producer Geoff Byrd who quickly took Lovey into the studio to record her first song. Together with the help of John Oates, Lovey Co-wrote her first single “Right Now.” Byrd saw something in Lovey and felt inspired to introduce her to longtime friend Producer/Writer Steve Sundholm, who has worked in the studio with Carrie Underwood, Ryan Tedder, Hall & Oats, Jet, Johnny K, Teddy Riley and many other artists, producers, and writers. After the introduction they began to work to develop an image for Lovey. She performed at local fairs, visited ratio stations and started work on her next song “Nothing Can Stop Me.” She continued to enter local competitions, write, and record.

In 2012, with the help of her producer, they traveled to LA to meet up with songwriter/producer PJ Bianco who is known for chart topping international hits with artists Demi Lovato, Fifth Harmony and The Jonas Brothers. He Co-Wrote and Produced her next single “Stupid Boy.” A music video was made that caused quite a buzz. She continued to Co-write more songs. “Rule The World” was written with the intent to show her ability to dance. “Don’t Be Such A Chick” was written to create more momentum and get attention. Lovey is now ready to launch her newest single “Who You Are” and you can expect more great things ahead.

Gracie Gold Wins Skate America Bronze

Chicago, Illinois - Nineteen year old Gracie Gold looked beautiful and performed wonderfully this past weekend October 25th & 26th at Skate America in Chicago, Illinois. Gracie won bronze with an overall score of 179.38 for her short and free programs. She scored 118.57 points for her free skate this past weekend.

Grace Elizabeth Gold, known as Gracie Gold, is an American figure skater. She is the 2012 World Junior silver medalist, 2013 U.S. national silver medalist, and 2014 U.S. national champion.

Russian Elena Radionova Wins Skate America Gold

Chicago, Illinois - The fifteen year old Russian figure skater Elena Radionova looked adorable at Skate America this past weekend. Elena Radionova had a great weekend as she was able to win Skate America scoring 129.90 points in her free skate and 195.47 points overall.

Elena Igorevna Radionova born January 6th, 1999 is a Russian figure skater. She is the 2014 Skate America champion, the 2013 Nebelhorn Trophy champion, and a two-time Russian national medalist. She has also won two World Junior titles (2013 & 2014) – the first ladies' single skater to do so – and the 2012 JGP Final. She is a junior-level ladies' record holder for the highest combined total, short program, and free skate scores.

EXCLUSIVE Musician Spotlight: Skylar Stecker

Skylar Stecker from Tampa, Florida is a wonderful 12 year old singer, songwriter and actor who loves music and entertainment. She is currently in California making her dreams come true. She hopes you like her singing and I can't thank you enough for your support.

Skylar will be perform at the Roxy in Los Angeles, California on November 16th, 2014. At the Roxy she will be performing thirteen of her original songs. If you are in the area make sure you check it out which happens to be her first concert.

We recently had the great opportunity to interview this upcoming and coming singer or her singing, is education important to her and if she is passionate about any charities. Here is what Skylar had to say.

When did you start singing?
When I was 9 years old. I signed myself up for a talent show to play the piano and the teacher in charge of auditions asked me to sing instead. I got in surprisingly for singing instead of playing the piano which was shocking because I had no idea I could even sing. Although, once I started, I couldn't stop singing.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper today delivered the following remarks:

“My fellow Canadians, for the second time this week there has been a brutal and violent attack on our soil.

“Today, our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Corporal Nathan Cirillo of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders of Canada.

“Corporal Cirillo was killed today – murdered in cold blood – as he provided a ceremonial Honour Guard at Canada’s National War Memorial.

“That sacred place that pays tribute to those who gave their lives so that we can live in a free, democratic and safe society.

“Likewise, our thoughts and prayers remain also with the family and friends of Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent, who was killed earlier this week by an ISIL-inspired terrorist.

“Tonight we also pray for the speedy recovery of the others injured in these despicable attacks.

“Fellow Canadians, we have also been reminded today of the compassionate and courageous nature

UPDATED: Shots Fired In Ottawa, Soldier & One Gunman Killed, Area Cleared

UPDATE #12: The area close to Parliament Hill is NOW clear of any security threat. Investigation is still on going.
UPDATE #11: The gunman in the fatal shooting in Ottawa, Canada was thirty two year old Michael Zehaf-Bibeau.
UPDATE #10: Corporal Nathan Cirillo, shot dead at Ottawa War Memorial today, was 24. Reservist was member of Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders according to the CBC.
UPDATE #9 This morning’s shooting incidents occurred at the National War Memorial and on Parliament Hill.  Not Rideau Centre.

The Ottawa Police Service and Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) responded to reports of shooting incidents this morning in the downtown area. Police can now confirm that incidents occurred at the National War Memorial and on Parliament Hill. 

Contrary to earlier reports no incident occurred near the Rideau Centre.

One shooting victim succumbed to injuries. He was a member of the Canadian Forces.  Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his loved ones.

Next of kin notification is underway and as such, the victim’s identification will not be released. 

One male suspect has also been confirmed deceased. There is no further update on injuries at

Tonight's Toronto at Ottawa game postponed

NEW YORK/TORONTO -- The game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Ottawa Senators, scheduled for tonight at Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa, has been postponed, the National Hockey League announced today.

The date and time of the rescheduled game will be announced at a later date.

The National Hockey League wishes to express its sympathy to all affected by the tragic events that took place this morning in downtown Ottawa.

Musician Spotlight: Violinist Lindsey Stirling

From the city of Los Angeles, California comes a amazing breakthrough artist by the name of Lindsey Stirling, Lindsey Stirling is one of the biggest artist development breakthrough stories in recent years. A classically trained violinist from Gilbert, AZ, Lindsey has entered a futurist world of electronic big beats and animation, leaping through the music industry with over half a billion views on YouTube, Billboard chart-topping hits and sold out tours worldwide.

Lindsey’s self-titled debut album featured twelve original tracks; including the viral smash “Crystallize,” which has racked up over 90 million YouTube views.
